Correction records
Corrections record the affected route, the incorrect statement, its replacement, the source used, the reviewer, and the release date. Calculation changes also require a deterministic test fixture. The calculator does not send inputs to LabelWatts. To report a calculation issue by email, use made-up example values rather than household or account data.
Material corrections appear on this page with their effective date. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be grouped when they do not alter meaning.
Send a correction request to wooki.support@gmail.com with the affected route, a concise explanation, and a first-party source link when available. Do not include credentials or private account data.
2026-09-07 — Estimate notices and operating disclosures
- Affected pages: Calculator, Methodology, and Disclaimer. Estimate-only notices now appear beside the calculation controls and immediately below result amounts. The wording now says charges and taxes are not calculated separately; a whole-bill effective input price may include them indirectly. Calculation formulas are unchanged.
- Affected pages: Editorial policy and Accessibility. Statements suggesting personal operator fact-checking and broader accessibility checks were replaced with descriptions of AI-assisted review and the checks actually recorded. Hermes (Clio), an AI assistant, reviewed this update; this was not independent expert or legal review.
- Affected pages: Privacy, Contact, and Data sources. “Privacy Desk” was replaced with contact-the-operator wording. The update clarifies personal Gmail handling, possible translation-tool processing, mailbox deletion limits, and browser-local calculation without a calculation API or active EIA benchmark.
- Basis: the existing source-linked methodology, current calculator behavior, recorded checks, and the operator’s confirmed email-handling practices. These changes clarify the service; they do not introduce new data collection or a new calculation model.
